I was hoping this would be a great enhancement to my iPod until I received it and plugged it in. No sound! It’s got no speakers yet blocks the sound from your iPod! What is the use of a mic if all you can do is record but not monitor what you have recorded? I sent it back very fast.

Looks cute and fits the pod but this will not work on my original itouch using any of a variety of apps. It would be good to have this identified more clearly in the description. Now I just have a big brown pill that does nothing.

I never received this item so I can’t give a review one way or another. Honestly I may not order from here again. I don’t like donating money without knowing it.
Thank you

I bought this to use with my skype and now I have to go and spent more money because this MIC is ONLY TO RECORD you cant hear because it uses the headset jack. Apple is smart enough to charge $200-$300 per item they sell but their stupid item cant recognize the difference between a headset and a MIC only. I am returning this MIC and the Ipod Touch too APPLE SUCKS

I have a 30 GB Ipod I bought at least 4 years ago and I’ve forgotten all those generation designations. I had an Xtreme Mini mic for it and loved it. That seems to be lost. I’m wondering if I an use this little mic for my Pod. I At the time the Xtreme Mini (plugs into the bottom/charging side of the Pod.)was the best. I like the price on this. Does anyone have any guidance?
