When I was younger these wooden games were found pretty regularly in classrooms and I can remember spending lots of time turning ever so carefully the little wooden dowels that controlled which way the whole surface would turn. The Iphone and Ipod Touch have a Wooden Labyrinth 3D application that brings back all those memories with a stunningly similar look and feel.

Labyrinth 3D was great to spend a little time doing in any of the numerous places I get stuck waiting in lines. The application takes advantage of the Iphone and Ipod Touch?s movement capabilities in that all your controls are the movement of the device. You lean it a little to the left or the right and your ball goes skirting that direction! It is extremely precise and often only takes a slight movement of the hand to send the ball careening down a well marked out hole.

This version of the Labyrinth 3D has an infinite number of levels and seems to just randomize where the holes are and how the labyrinth itself is laid out. The only downfall to this is that you?re not necessarily working to complete the entire game. It?s mainly for your own personal gratification that you made it through the labyrinth without falling through a hole and starting all over again. Many of the mazes were relatively simple and I was able to complete quite a few in a row without having to restart. I like to attribute this to my unlimited patience and steadiness, but more likely the mazes weren?t that difficult.

The newest update of this application for the free edition has added some ads to it that have really cluttered up the game. It had nearly a five star rating up until the most recent update in which most of those ratings went way down. This change was due to the nature of some of the ads and that they were never there before. There is a pay version of this application that it would seem they are attempting to push people toward.

Other than the most recent addition of the advertisements Labyrinth 3D is a fantastic application to have on your Iphone or Ipod Touch. It helps pass the time and is another great back and forth game for you and a friend.

These are the headset, armband, and nano tubes that together combine to make the whole experience of “listening to music” quite fascinating.
